How To Choose The Best Kizer Microlith

Kizer knives have been around since the early 1900s, but they only really started making their name known in the last decade. They now make over 100 different styles of knives, ranging from pocketknives to hunting knives to kitchen cutlery. This article will help you decide whether or not you'd like to invest in one of their products.

What Is A Kizer Microlith?

The Kizer Microlith is an extremely small folding knife made by Kizer Knives. The Microlith is available in two sizes; 3.5" and 4". It has been designed for those who want a compact knife but still need something that will perform well. This knife features a black G10 handle with a stainless steel blade. The blade is fully serrated and comes with a lanyard hole at the tip of the blade. The Microlith is perfect for everyday carry because it is very light weight and easy to conceal.

Who needs a Kizer Microlith?

The Kizer Microlith is one of our most popular knives. But did you know that it has been around since the early 1980s? It was originally designed for military use but now it's being used by law enforcement officers, hunters, and outdoorsmen everywhere.

It's made of stainless steel and features a blade that's 5 1/2 inches long. It's perfect for cutting through tough materials such as rope, leather, and twine. Its handle is ergonomically shaped for comfort while using it. And its reversible pocket clip makes it easy to carry anywhere.

But this isn't just any old knife. It's a microlith. What does that mean? It means that it's smaller than standard blades. Smaller blades are better suited for tight spaces. So, if you're working in a confined area, the Kizer Microlith could be the right tool for the job.

Plus, it's lightweight. At only 3 ounces, it's ideal for carrying in a backpack or purse. It's also very affordable. So, if you're looking for a reliable, comfortable, and versatile knife, check out the Kizer Microlith today.

The Importance Of Purchasing A Quality Kizer Microlith

If you've ever used a microlith blade, then you already know how sharp they are. They have become one of my favorite blades because they are so easy to use. You just slide them into your pocket and go about your business. When I first started carrying a microlith blade, I didn't realize how much I would come to rely on them. Now, I carry two of them on me at all times. One is in my front pocket and the other is in my back pocket. This way, if something happens and I lose my main blade, I'll still have another option available.

I'm going to share with you five reasons why you should purchase a quality microlith blade. These are things that you may not think about when buying a cheap microlith blade. So let's take a closer look at the five reasons why you should buy a quality microlith blade:

Microliths are very durable. They are designed to withstand heavy duty tasks such as cutting through wood, metal, plastic, leather, and even glass. Because of their durability, they tend to hold up better than traditional knives. For example, if you drop a microlith blade onto concrete, it won't break like a regular knife might. Instead, it will simply bend slightly.

A microlith blade is perfect for heavy duty jobs. A microlith blade can handle everything from chopping vegetables to carving meat. Plus, they are extremely lightweight. This makes them ideal for people who want to do heavy duty work without having to lug around a big, bulky knife.

Since microliths are smaller than most knives, they have sharper edges. This means that they are easier to sharpen. And since they are small, they are less likely to dull quickly. This is especially helpful if you are working outside where you cannot easily access a sharpening stone.

Features To Consider When Buying A Kizer Microlith

Different Types Of Kizer Microlith

Kizer Microliths are small knives that are designed to fit easily into your pocket. These are commonly referred to as microblades. These are designed to cut through tough materials quickly without damaging delicate items nearby. These are also known as mini blades.

The two main types of Kizer Microliths are the standard blade and the edge guard. Standard blades are the traditional style blades that are straight across. Edge guards are curved blades that protect the edges of the blade. Both styles are suitable for cutting paper, cardboard, plastic, leather, wood, etc. However, each style has its own advantages and disadvantages. Let’s look at what makes each style special.

Standard Blades. Standard blades are the most versatile style of Kizer Microlith. Kizer Microliths are capable of cutting through almost anything. Their sharpness lasts longer than edge guards. However, they are less durable than edge guards. They are also harder to sharpen. Because of this, they are better suited for beginners.

Edge Guards. Edge guards are the second most popular style of Kizer Microlith. They offer protection against damage to surrounding objects. Kizer Microliths are also easier to sharpen than standard blades. However, they don’t last nearly as long as standard blades. Kizer Microliths are also slightly weaker than standard blades.

If you are a beginner, go with the standard blade. These are easier to use and maintain. Also, they are cheaper than edge guards. If you are experienced, go with the edge guard. These are stronger than standard blades and last longer. These are also easier to sharpen. Finally, they are safer than standard blades since they protect the user from accidental cuts.
