Buyer's Guide

Buck 110 Knife Review

The Buck 110 Knife is a well built, solid knife featuring the Buck trademark lock-back mechanism that ensures that your knife stays in place whilst in use. The knife comes complete with a Leather Sheath and includes a two year warranty. The knife is definitely for serious outdoorsmen. The durability of the Buck knives is unmatched. I have carried many Buck Knives over the years and can say without question that they are easily one of the best knives I have owned in my many years of owning knives.

The blade of the Buck 110 is made of high carbon spring steel giving it a good balance. It is then finished with aged bronze or brass powder coat. A very nice feature is the Buck Knifes logo is on the blade. It adds an extra touch of class to this great knife. The lock back system on the knife means that should you want to change the knife as a result of it getting damaged (by something like sweat or accidental shock), all you have to do is open up the lock and pull the blade out.

The overall quality of the Buck knives is first rate. The build quality of the knives is excellent. The sheaths that come with the knives are well made and protect the knife well. If you are looking for a decent fixed blade knife to take on camping trips or long hiking trips, I would highly recommend the Buck 110.

The first thing I noticed about the Buck 110 folding knife was the comfortable feel. As soon as I got it, I knew I was going to like this knife. The weight is just right. This makes the knife a great choice if you are someone who likes a lighter folding knife than some of the heavier ones like the Kershaw blade.

The second thing that I really liked about the buck 110 folding knife was the two included knives. The first one is the basic utility knife features a black leather sheath and a clip point blade. The other knife features a black leather sheath along with a wood folding blade. While they do not have a lot of knife features, they are still very useful.

The third feature that I really liked about the Buck 110 knife is that it has a lockback. A lockback prevents the knife from being open when it is in your hand. While hunting I did not think it was all that important, but if you are an experienced outdoorsman you know that the openers on many hunting knives are not very helpful at keeping them closed in case of an accident. The lockback on the Buck 110 knife allows you to open it easily even when your hand is full of hairs. The lockback is also very handy for extended periods of time.

Another great feature of the Buck 110 folding hunter is the leather patch wallet that comes with the knife. Leather on the outside, and genuine ebony wood on the inside! This adds an additional feature to a knife that is already great. Not only does the leather add a nice aesthetic to the knife, but it also adds an additional safety feature to it since the lockback cannot be opened by your fingers. It keeps your money and other valuable items safe from possible intruders.

From the looks of it and the overall feel of the Buck 110 folding hunter, it is hard to tell the knife apart from any other brand. From the look of the handle to the finish of the knife to the lockback, everything about the Buck 110 folding hunter is just plain cool. It is one knife that I would recommend to anyone. It just has a quality that you can really trust. So if you are looking for a solid fixed blade that you can rely on to open up anything you need, but don't want to sacrifice looks or quality, then I recommend the Buck 110 folding knife. The leather sheath is another added benefit as well, and I highly recommend this knife to anyone.
